We had a great turn out on Saturday for the first Cayuga Bird Club bird
walk at Stewart Park! It was multi-generational and a very easy and
accessible walk as well; so people with canes, walkers, and motorized carts
were able to fully participate. It had a very beginner and neighborly feel
to the walk. Here is the online preview story by Simon Wheeler,
http://www.ithacajournal.com/story/news/2016/04/02/cayuga-bird-club-teachs-stewart-park/82558768/
and there might be one also in the newspaper (today?).

The next Stewart Park bird walk will be Sunday, 4/10, 9am (led by long-time
birder Dave Nutter, co-led by Sandy Wold). Meet at the Fuertes Overlook
(aka Swan Pond/Cascadilla Boat House); bring binoculars if you have them.
You don't have to have binoculars as there will be a scope. If heavy rain,
it would be cancelled; but not if snow. Please share to get the word out!
Stewart Park is such an amazing place!!!
