FYI, David Wheeler wrote the following on the Derby Hill hawk watch website
today (http://www.hawkcount.org/month_summary.php?rsite=358) regarding
tomorrow's (April 21) weather and hawk migration.

Next Day Forecast THU: Man your stations!!!! This is not a drill.
Best-of-season flight is possible. SE wind drifting to SW, sunny with
increasing clouds and rain approaching but should not be a factor for us beyond
pushing birds ahead of it. Could easily be 3000+ raptors. Main question will be
whether Lake breeze will take over and if it does what that will mean.
Increasing clouds could help in this respect. Big songbird flight possible in
the morning. FRI: something of a question mark depending on how much rain.
Overcast. Rain-free and cold front coming could mean a good flight depending on
exactly what happens. SAT: cold, sunny, NW wind. Not a good forecast. Sunday is
better. Rumor has it blocking high pressure may control North America next
week. That could cost us a lot of birds.
