A walk around Salt Point this morning yielded FOY (for me) Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and Warbling Vireo. The gnatcatcher was actively foraging in the center of the shrubby area, calling all the while. The vireo was singing from the tops of trees close to the north shore.
In addition, there were a pair of Brown Thrashers, several Yellow-rumped Warblers and an almost equal number of Northern Rough-winged Swallows in with the Tree swallows.
