We were birding Queen Catharine Marsh a few days ago (very boring) and suddenly heard a noise like a swarm of bees. Looking around and finally up we saw the noisy quadracopter drone that someone was flying up the canal. While I think the footage can be useful, there's an invasion of peace and privacy in the outdoors feeling as well.
In counterpoint, here is a terrific use for drones.
