All, We have had a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE at Dorchester Park Whitney Point, NY for over a week now. The bird is within a large flock of Canada Geese (about 300 or so). Occasionally, the bird flies over to the Lopke Gravel Pit Lake which is a few miles away on Rte 79 toward Itaska, NY. This place is also an e-bird hotspot. Many have gotten great photos and excellent looks at this bird as sometimes it is on the grass at Dorchester. Just wanted to pass this along in case anyone is interested.
