I have had what I think is a gold finch (pink bill and feet) sleeping or
resting all around my downtown back yard all day. The feathers are
fluffed out, lots of white down both sides of yellow breast. Minimal
response to noises, just resettles with head tucked into back. Is the
bird molting , sick or what? Anything I should do besides keeping the
neighbors cat away?
