Hi everyone, Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon there was a flock of 100 or so Common Redpolls over the weedy field between the radio tower on Mt Pleasant Rd and the farm in the dip between the hills. Later (around 3pm) I saw presumably the same flock in the weedy field on the easternmost hill of MT Pleasant Rd where they spent many weeks previously. Despite many weed stems, there are very few seeds left in these fields, but I am still only getting a couple of redpolls at my feeders each day. So the large flock must be finding plenty of wild food.
And on another topic, anyone seeing Wild Turkeys displaying yet?
