Pet owners might be aware that SPCAs often serve as centers for lost pets and 
owners to reconnect. Pet rescue and vet care facilities and feed stores might 
also be places where a posted announcement would help locate the owner.  How 
far might such a bird have flown or been carried on strong winds?
