An American Golden Plover, correct me if I am wrong, was working the edge of the first pool close to the road to the west before arriving at the visitor's center parking lot at MNWR at about 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today. I will post photos later tonight on Ebird.
Also I was surprised to see a pair of Ospreys on the nest of the first tower just west of the entrance to MNWR at about 2:30 p.m. No photos were taken.
