Late this afternoon I ran across a mixed foraging flock at Salt Point, with the
chicadees and nuthatches there was at least one Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and a
surprise- a N. Parula female. There were also several Yellow-rumps eating
poison ivy berries. These were all seen along the straight path from the rr
crossing to the lakeshore. A flock of a dozen Siskins also was present, flying
around to various perches.
