Around 11 this morning, I watched a Rough-legged Hawk circling over the fields 
along Mt Pleasant Road, before making its way slowly westward toward the 
observatory. Hope it sticks around...it's been a number of years since this 
species spent the winter on Mt Pleasant.

Also, yesterday around the same time, I glimpsed what I presume was the Common 
Redpoll flock foraging far on the south side of the Mt Pleasant weedy field 
(south side of the road)
