A lovely flock on Mount Pleasant this morning. Right by the road On the fields
approaching the Mineah intersection. They were in a calm and convivial state
(please excuse the anthropomorphism!), letting me get close enough —despite my
underpowered binocs & having my 95 lb dog in tow—to observe the beautiful
patterns of their wing & back feathers up close for the first time. A real
treat.
