The South end of the park, where Lower Lake Rd meets Rt89, has good views of open water but the ice edge is still a bit far to the East. Good scope views of large numbers of ducks, geese, swans, gulls, eagles...... The water&birds should get much closer the next couple of days. Sunny morning viewing is tough there. Does anyone know if there is open water at any viewing spots on Lower Lake Road or Cayuga Lake State Park?
