The past few mornings of walking my dog, I have noticed a Mourning Dove on an old Robin nest on the side of a house. The mate is nearby, keeping a watchful eye. I got fairly close to the nest on the house before realizing the bird was on the nest, but she didn't budge.
Is this early for nesting? Seems so!
