This afternoon I birded from Lansing up the lake to the Montezuma area.
Below the Long Point Winery I found a graceful female N Harrier, then a pair of
Ospreys in their nest platform @ ~# 1950 above the lake.

Then I saw a bunch of small gulls over & on the water & found them to be
Bonaparte’s, - flying , then landing on the water & doing their circles!
Near them were many Buffleheads & a few Red-breasted Mergansers.

The Bald Eagle was sitting in its nest on the south side of Aurora & 3 Snow
Geese were north of the RR bridge in Cayuga.

N. Shovelers abounded at the Visitors Center (now open along w Wildlife Drive),
along with a Green winged Teal.
3 swans were in the distance at Knox Marcellus Marsh.

I thought I saw 2 Ospreys in one of the new disk-nests on the west end of the
power towers on US Rt. 20.

Saw several TVs & Bald Eagles here & there on this gorgeous day.
