I arrived home from a very quiet morning birding Shindagin Hollow and the Hawthorne Orchard to find my backyard completely full of song. Much to my surprise, among the constant sound of blue-winged warbler was a singing male golden-winged warbler! He was kind enough to stick around for me to record his song and get a few pics. Definitely a new yard bird. Maybe he liked what he saw and will be back! Happy birding, Jessica Kerns Mt Pleasant Rd, Ithaca, NY
