Just saw our first /white crowned sparrow/ at the feeders. First /dark-eyed Junco/ was seen on Sat. 2 Sept..Canadas are going over, out to feed in farm fields, in ever enlarging flocks even tho' fall seems a bit sluggish otherwise with very few trees showing any color. All things in due time, including frost & snow!. Our ever-bearing red raspberries are large & tasty. The patch has gotten out of hand & we have lots of young plants to share.
