A Cooper’s Hawk zoomed onto a branch opposite my kitchen window just now, quickly scattering several Mourning Doves, 2 WB Nuthatches, & some DE Juncos. I think they all saw the hawk in the sky before it landed, since they were already dashing away as it hit the branch!
