I've seen one hunting lake road fields, cayuga county, 3 times in the past 8 days. A joy to see once, let alone 3 times. Hovering above the fields makes for great views. Also, on monday, I saw 2 rough legged hawks on rte 90 just north of union springs, on telephone pole and in tree right beside the road. They both looked darker than the other one to me.
