Good afternoon!

I’ve been regularly seeing a small group of cranes along then north side of
Armitage road in the freshly sprouted corn fields. Almost directly across from
the old wood barn. I see them in the morning and afternoon as I’m commuting.

This is also a good spot for Savannah Sparrows and probably some other
grassland nesters. The ridge of the drumlin that runs perpendicular to the road
is left grassy, which seems like a good spot to nest! Currently listening to
them sing, while watching 4 cranes meandering around.
