On this gloomy, foggy day, I've been delighted to hear various sounds of spring around my Ringwood Road property: the soft cooing of a Mourning Dove, a singing Carolina Wren, trilling from a Dark-eyed Junco, and some distant drumming from either Downy or Hairy Woodpecker. Tufted Titmice and Black-capped Chickadees have been singing a while now. Haven't heard a cardinal yet but I bet that will happen soon. Marie
