While walking at Salt Point Natural Area (Lansing) this afternoon, I stopped to 
watch a small flock of American Wigeon and noticed one with a red head. It had 
a pale stripe down the forehead to the bill. No green on the face that I could 
see. If walking from the parking lot, it was before you get to the “little free 
library” about where the rotted pier posts are.
