     5/11: A YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER was seen on Carncross Road.

     5/12: A WILSON’S PHALAROPE was seen on the Loop Road extension north of 
Rt. 31.

     5/13: A PHILADELPHIA VIREO and a SWAINSON’S THRUSH were seen on Howland 
Island. 2 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS were seen on the Wildlife Drive. A 
PROTHONOTARY WARBLER was seen on Armitage Road. A WILSON’S PHALAROPE was seen 
at the Visitor’s Center.8 Shorebird species including a WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER 
and a SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER were seen from Carncross Road.

     5/14: A PROTHONOTARY WARBLER was seen on Armitage Road.







Cayuga County

     5/12: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen on Acre Road in Sterling. A 
LINCOLN’S SPARROW was seen at the Sterling Nature Center.

     5/13: A RUDDY TURNSTONE and a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER were seen at West 
Barrier Bar in Fair Haven. A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen at Fair Haven State 
Park

     5/14: A CAPE MAY WARBLER was seen at West Barrier Bar in Fair haven.







Oswego County

     5/8: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard at Rainbow Shores Road on Lake Ontario.

     5/9: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard at the Roosevelt Road sand pits north of 
Oneida Lake. A BLACK-LEGGED KITTYWAKE was seen from Derby Hill.

     5/11: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen at Sunset Bay Park on Lake Ontario.

     5/12: A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen at Rainbow Shores Park.

     5/13: A PHILADELPHIA VIREO, a LIINCOLN’S SPARROW and a BLACK-LEGGED 
KITTYWAKE were all seen at Sunset Bay Park. A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen at Deer 
Creek marsh on Lake Ontario.

     5/14: 3 GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSHES were seen at Great Bear Recreational Area 
north of Phoenix.










Onondaga County

     5/11: A PHILADELPHIA VIREO was found at the LeMoyne College Woods in 
Syracuse.

     5/12: A GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER was seen at Green Lakes State Park and was 
found through the 13th.

     5/13: A PHILADELPHIA VIREO was seen at Oneida Shores County Park in 
Brewerton.

     5/14: A BLACK VULTURE was seen on Jamesville Avenue in Syracuse. An 
ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen at Green Lakes State Park.







Madison County

------------




     5/12: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard on Bonney Hill Road east of Hammilton.

     5/13: A RED CROSSBILL was seen in the Earleville State Forest.

     5/15: 2 EVENING GROSBEAKS were found in the Earleville State Forest.







Oneida County

------------




     5/10: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard on Preston Hill Road north of Rt. 49. 2 
more were heard on the 13th.

     5/13: An UPLAND SANDPIPER was seen on North Gage Road south of 
Barneveld.An ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER was heard near Verona Beach State park.

     5/11: 11 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen near Thendera.







Herkimer County
