"My Third New York State Breeding Bird Atlas in Review"
Presented by Bill Ostrander

Bill Ostrander will relate his experiences with the third Breeding Bird Atlas,
which kicked off in 2020. Atlasing occurs every 20 years in New York State, and
Bill participated in the first (1980-1985) and second (2000-2005) atlases as
well. This detailed survey of breeding birds provides a basis that informs the
conservation of birds and their habitats in the Empire State.

Whether you are an atlas veteran, a newbie, or you simply want to learn about
this ongoing conservation effort that covers nearly half a century, you're sure
to enjoy Bill's comments.

In-person: meet at Appleridge, 168 Miller St., Horseheads.
