I saw a male cardinal at my suet feeder, which for starters is unusual since
they usually go for the seed feeder. It grabbed food and went into a nearby
branch. I couldn't see it, but assumed it went there to eat in private. The
leaves were shaking a bit, so I got my bins for a closer look. The male was
feeding a female cardinal. He went back and forth a couple times. I think of
this as spring behavior, for courtship or feeding young, not fall behavior.
Just curious what others think of this.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy
smartphone
