Friends: In the Earth's yearly journey around the Sun, its Northern Hemisphere begins to lean toward its Star. As the Sun climbs higher in the sky, its rays hit our surface more directly, and our planet slowly returns to life. Join NY State Master Naturalist Volunteer, Pete Saracino, as we explore this Earth-Sun connection and the myriad ways the natural world is awakening to these higher rays and longer days. Walks are free and begin at the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge’s Visitor Center at 10 am. Length of walk depends on what we encounter and where we linger, but you can leave as it fits your schedule. Binoculars, appropriate dress and sunscreen are recommended. All ages are welcome. No pets please. Walk Dates: 3/22; 4/5; 4/12; 4/19 Hope to see you there. Pete Saracino/Montezuma Refuge Volunteer Naturalist/New York State Master Naturalist Volunteer
