An hour ago I saw a Cooper’s Hawk bring down a pigeon in my yard near my
feeders.

It then hovered/tented over its freshly killed pigeon (hard to be positive, but
large pink feet & gray body seen, plus I regularly have ~50 pigeons eating
here).

It ate a bit & picked off some feathers, while being scolded by Crows &
Chickadees.
Then it flew away with the carcass, leaving blood on the snow.
