Title: Data Stage/ETL Developer Location: CA
Duration: 6 months Rate: $35/Hr Major Responsibilities: Data Stage/ETL Developer to work with the client Commerce Data Services team. This role requires data management and data integration knowledge, ETL job design and excellent communication skills. The position will be responsible for developing ETL jobs, data mapping, query optimization, as well as automating processes to support mission critical and high volume data management process that meet the requirements of our business partners and our customers. Responsibilities * Develop ETL jobs according to design sprcification using IBM DataStage * Maintain, enhance, and optimize DataStage jobs * Troubleshoot application issues including components such as DataStage, QualityStage or related products * Provide application performance monitoring and tuning for improvements * Write scritps to automate data management process Experience, Education and Training (Requirements) * At least 1+ years Experience with DataStage or 2-3 years experience developing data integration jobs with with procedural language (Perl, Python, etc.) * Strong experience in coding using SQL, PL/SQLprocedures/functions, triggers. * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills necessary. * Self-starter and motivated with ability to work in a fast paced Rapid Application Development environment. * Ability to learn new development environments quickly. * Articulate communication skills are a must.
