Sr. Lead Engineering (Hosting)

 

Primary Skill:

Hosting - IBM Web Sphere, Clustering, Web Logic, JBoss, System Monitoring,
Network Engineer, Oracle

 

Required skills:

. 7+ experience in managing multiple webservers - IBM Websphere, Weblogic,
JBoss. 

. 5+ years of experience working withJava/J2EE environment. 

. 2 to 3 years of Oracle database experience. 

. Experience with multiple databases - MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, DB2,
PostgresSQL 

. Expertise in system monitoring, data center management and good
understanding of network protocols. 

. Must have 4+ years of experience in clustered environment. 

. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 

. Experience with following Tools: Ant, Groovy, Jasper, LDAP, Subversion,
Bamboo, Maven, Perl, Phyton.

. Experience with: Rally, Agile Development.

. Sound knowledge and practical understanding of relevant coding languages,
IDEs, technology platforms, tools, specifications, et

. Sound grasp of technology and tools used for development.

. Java/J2EE development experience desirable.

 

Job Responsibilities:

. Responsible for managing web servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss) 

. Manage product releases on test, staging and production environment 

. Help support team in troubleshooting production issues. 

. If required work in shifts in critical phases of delivery. 

. Must take ownership of the current assigned projects.

. Provide resolution to technical problems and queries faced by team members
and across projects.

. Conduct Technical/Functional trainings at Org level.

. Contribution towards Knowledge Sharing forums.

. Participation in pre sales activities and support.

. Active participation in recruitment/interviews.

. Responsible for people management including objective setting, performance
review, recognition and providing performance feedback on a day-to-day
basis.

. Provide team leadership to team size of 5-8 members.
