*Position: Business Analyst* *Location: Albany, New York (Locals to NY, NJ and PA)* *Duration: 18 Months* * * * * *MANDATORY Requirements:* NOTE: Candidates who do not meet mandatory requirements will not be considered. 1. A minimum of seven (7) years experience in performing business process analysis, business process improvement, and re-engineering. 2. A minimum of seven (7) years experience in conducting JAD sessions, focus groups or individual interviews for requirements elicitation; determining and documenting business, technical and data requirements; and developing business rules. 3. A minimum of seven (7) years experience in object-oriented analysis and design of which a minimum of six (6) years must have been in UML (Unified Modeling Language) using standard UML techniques such as use case, activity, sequence, class, and component diagrams. 4. A minimum of seven (7) years experience in database design principles and database modeling, and development of conceptual DB models using an automated design tool. 5. Ability to clearly and correctly communicate in both written and spoken English. *DESIRABLE Experience: * (Listed in order of importance. Scores will be assigned based on the length of the experience.) 1. Experience in working with agencies/companies to develop business analysis standards, procedures and tools. 2. Experience in developing and delivering business analysis training. 3. Experience in mentoring business analysts. 4. Experience in developing or implementing a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) employing the Rational Unified Process (RUP). 5. Experience using IBM Rational Requisite Pro (Version 6.0 or higher). 6. Experience using IBM Rational Requirements Composer (IBM Jazz™ platform). 7. Formal education in business analysis. (List courses and dates, or associated degree with date). 8. Current International Institute of Business Analysis certification (Certified Business Analysis Professional).
