Job Description:  
 Looking for a mid level DBA with years of experience and strong skills in DB2 
LUW and UNIX shell scripting in a client/server environment
Minimum qualifications:

Must have strong knowledge of DB2 LUW
Must have very strong Unix skills across AIX and Linux.
Must be able to perform DB2 LUW software new installs, upgrades, and patch 
application, besides third-party tools' installation and configuration.
Must have strong troubleshooting skills and be able to debug most DB2 LUW 
problems and shell script problems.
Must be very knowledgeable regarding DB2 LUW backup/recovery strategies and 
competently implement them.
Must have good SQL skills, must be able to tune SQL.
Must be able to create/configure/tune instances, databases and database 
objects, as well as modify existing ones.
Must be able to monitor and optimize the performance of the database, including 
detecting OS issues, and recommending fixes for them. 
Must have strong UNIX shell scripting skills, including the ability to quickly 
understand, maintain and modify scripts authored by others.
Must be a self starter with an ability to work independently under general 
direction.
