*Position: Job Developer* *Location: New York City, NY (NO REMOTE WORK)* *Duration: 6 Months* ** *MAX Rate: $20-25/hr on W2* * * We are seeking bids for a part time Job Developer (Consultant) to work on a consulting basis for an approximate 6 month period, with the – Senior community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). The Title V program aims to provide job preparedness and/or job placement for mature adults. The Scope of services for this position includes, but is not limited to the following. · Identify job openings for trainees enrolled in the program. · Provide overall support and job placement assistance to trainees enrolled in the training center and maintain strong focus in the program’s placement goals and achievements. · Place a minimum of 3-4 participants in unsubsidized employment weekly. · Contact and visit employers to develop job opportunities for Title V trainees and match jobs available to qualification of Tile v trainees and issue referrals. · Monitor trainees progress and all related matters in the job development and training center aimed to achieve the goals of the unit. · Assist customers in the creation of resumes and cover/thanks you letters and assist in facilitating job preparation and resumes workshops and other duties to help with trainees re-employment. · Conduct job market research, up-date data on companies employers and new industries and prepare timely report weekly, monthly and quarterly, to be submitted to the Deputy Director of the Unit. · Interact with other employment agencies (WIA) to provide additional services to our mature workers, access to other paid training modalities (Vouchers) and to network for recruitment and expansion of employment and services portfolio. · Assist the Director, Deputy Director and Training Center Manager in the coordination of activities and event such as: Job fairs, employment forums and others as required by the Senior Unit, · Provide reports on accountability of outcomes on all employment referrals and job placement of all Title V trainees enrolled in the program. -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/CBE-Software-Engineer?hl=en
