*Location: Carlsbad, CA
Duration: 4-6 Months*


Skills:
* Informatica 8.x or higher
* Databases: 10g or higher
* Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux
* Data Modeling: E-R Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, Snow Flake
Schema, Fact and dimension tables.
* Experince with SAP Powerconnect
* Great written and verbal communication skills - must be able to report
status, clearly explain an issue and its resolution*

*Duties/responsibilities:**
** Develop and supported Extraction, Transformation and Load process (ETL)
using Informatica PowerCenter to populate the tables in a data warehouse
* Sourcing different databases including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and flat
files into Oracle
* Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Procedures/Functions, Triggers and Packages in
Oracle 10g or higher
* Experience in implementation of Data Cleanup procedures, transformations,
Scripts, Stored Procedures and execution of test plans for loading the data
successfully into the targets
* Experience in Installation, Configuration, and Administration of
Informatica PowerCenter on Client/Server environment
* Experience in writing UNIX shell scripts (Korn Shell/Bourne Shell),
SQL*Loader, Performance & Tuning of Database, Backup and Recovery
* Experience in Database Design, Entity-Relationship modeling, Dimensional
modeling like Star schema and Snowflake schema
* Experience with Informatica PowerCenter Components - Source Analyzer,
Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer & Mapplet Designer, Transformation
Developer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor
* Experience in Debugging and Performance Tuning of targets, sources,
mappings and sessions
* Understand complex mappings in Informatica to load the data from various
sources into the Data Warehouse, using different transformations like
Joiner, Aggregator, Update Strategy, Rank, Router, Lookup - Connected &
Unconnected, Sequence Generator, Filter, Sorter, Source Qualifier, Stored
Procedure transformation etc.
* Develop Slowly Changing Dimension mappings of type I, II and III
