Job Title : ETL Developer Location:Cleveland, OH Duration: 6-8 months contract Start Date: October 1st. Project: Customer is currently migrating from DB2 to Teradata database and needs a senior level ETL developer with 7+ years of experience to help migrate all of the marketing and sales data from the old database to the new database. The candidate will be working on moving up to 5 TB from the old version to the new version by using Informatica. The client also has some Cognos reports that may also need to be migrated. The candidate must have excellent communication as they will be working with the offshore team and coordinating some development. Team/Environment: Teradata Hardware: 1310, Reporting Tool is Cognos 7,8. Day-to-Day: Review and analyze the ETL requirements Design, develop, implement and assist in validating ETL processes Troubleshoot, optimize and tune ETL processes Document all ETL related work per company's methodology Maintain existing code and fix bugs when needed Required Skills: Informatica DB2 Teradata Good communication (with off shore resources too.) Desired Skills: Experience migrating information from DB2 to Teradata.
