- 8+ years of recent experience designing, developing, deploying, and
supporting implementing SOA services in high volume and on large/complex
applications.
- Ability to perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical
environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong teamwork and

- Proven track record of success in challenging the status quo,
implementing new ideas and designs with a practical orientation.
- Highly innovative individual that can evaluate existing legacy assets
to be incorporated into a SOA environment.
- 5+ years of experience of design, development, administrations and
troubleshooting in WebSphere Integration Stack i.e. WESB (Websphere
Enterprise Service Bus) and WPS (Websphere Process Server), WAS Websphere
Application Server), Websphere Adapters, WID (Websphere Integration
Developer), WMQ, JMS, MQ, and other WESB related technologies (recent
experience with v 7.0 is highly desirable).
- 5+ years of working on XML technologies, XSD, DTD.
- 5+ years of experience on standards based integration and technologies
such as Service Oriented Architecture and Business Process Modeling (BPM)
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing Enterprise Service
Bus/SOA/Integration Tier Architecture (Web Services, J2EE, JMS, EAI, MQ,
BPEL/Process Orchestration).
- 3+ years of experience using some/all of the following technologies:
- Layered architecture, components and interfaces
- Languages: Java, C, C++
- Development Environments: WID
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2/UDB, and stored procedures
- Application Servers: IBM WebSphere (WESB, WPS)
- Architectural Design using Visio, UML diagrams and Use Case
documentation
- Design and development experience using distributed technologies,
Enterprise JavaBeans, Servlets, JSP, and JDBC
- Advanced Web Services Skills: SOAP, UDDI, XML, WSDL
- Understands the use of stored procedures in a SOA environment
- Good understanding of various interfaces including but not limited
CLOBS, copybooks, and result sets.
- Experience creating benchmark tests, designing for scalability and
performance, and designing/integrating large-scale systems.
- Experience designing and building n-tier architecture-based
applications with direct involvement in each tier.
- Expertise in object-oriented analysis and design; preferably
service-oriented design
- Experience with simple object access protocol (SOAP) and web services.
- Strong background in systems architecture and relevant technologies,
including portal technologies, high availability design, internet security,
identity management, web and application server environments, session
management, transaction management, middleware messaging, content
management.
- Experience with Security (e.g. authentication and authorization)
Architectures.
