Job Title : Microstrategy Developer Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 6 to 8+ Years of IT; Technical/Functional Skills : · Must have experience with developing code in a Microstrategy · Data Design skills required · Must be able to co-ordinate work with Offshore team · Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with the client · Up-to-date with latest Microstrategy release features and functions. · Deploying Microstrategy dashboards on Java based Application · Knowledge in Java/J2EE web application design is an added advantage. Experience Required · Strong knowledge of MSTR and good work experience · Experience in performance tuning within Microstrategy (Desktop, Dashboard and Narrowcast). · Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with various technical teams on problem definition and resolution. · Experience troubleshooting and determining root cause for issues in high availability, high volume MSTR and Portal applications. · Experience with code management and code deployment tools and methodology (Perforce and Subversion). · Ability to handle multiple issues and meet deadlines as well as meet project expectations. · Strong debug and analytical skill set with great attention to detail. · Advanced SQL skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Intermediate to expert on Microsoft Office products · Banking experience is an added advantage · Strong implementation of business logic in reports · SQL Optimization · Should have overall knowledge in Microstrategy architecture · Knowledge in preparing functional and technical specification · Experience in Dimensional modeling · Roles & Responsibilities : · Ability to conceptualize new reports for monitoring based upon existing applications. · Plugin the new reports dashboards into existing java applications. · Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements. · Work with the design team to realize the architecture by providing suggestions on design options. · Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design teams. · Work with client architecture teams in - validate the non-functional requirements -discussing and providing inputs on architecture options · Debugging Report issues and helping the users to fine tune their reports Generic Managerial Skills : NA Education : Bachelor of Engineering Work Location : Newark, Delaware / Hopewell NJ Vishal Mishra IDC Technologies 408-852-7193 -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/CBE-Software-Engineer?hl=en
