Overview: This role would be responsible for performing the monthly consolidation of actual results and budgets and forecasts produce financial statements and modifying system hierarchies and account mappings. Ideally this professional would have the following skills: Accounting/Financial Reporting background Previous experience performing financial consolidations for a global company. Excellent Hyperion Enterprise/HFM skills. Must have capabilities to modify hierarchies and account mappings in addition to executing consolidations and producing/modifying reports. Requirements: Minimum 5 of Hyperion Administration experience required Experience with Hyperion reporting tools (Hyperion Financial Reports & Smart View) Experience integrating data from multiple external sources Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to work independently Excellent Problem Solving Skills Excellent Communication Skills Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Collaboration with application team, data architect team, security team, data quality team, business units and data owners to successfully implement and maintain a DOE enterprise level operational data store, data warehouse, data marts and master data solution. Translating business requirements from across the Department of Education into technical project and data warehousing requirements, and reporting and analytics requirements. Reviewing and providing feedback on current ETL architecture processes, policies, and vision. Providing extensive expertise in enterprise data and information management methods and standards. Requirements Skills: Very strong technical knowledge of IBM Datastage version 8+ Management of a development ETL team Project planning and coordination of many projects Adherence to ETL Architecture Standards Very good communications and management skills Technical leadership of teams of 10 – 15 members as manager/lead of ETL and SQL Experience in the Education space with knowledge of assessments software. Expertise includes delivery of real time and near real time solutions. Deep understanding of real time technologies related ESB/SOA and how they connect to near real time CDC tools and ETL tools.
