Role: Oracle BI/ Informatica Consultant Location: Thousand Oaks, CA Duration: 6+ months Description: Our client is looking for strong OBIEE consultants for long term projects. Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and implement new Oracle BI reporting, dashboard, and analytics solutions as part of a development team. · Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot Informatica ETL's for data loads from source systems (50%) o Mappings, transformations, aggregations o Error handling and troubleshooting o Performance tuning · Assist with Repository Management and BI Administration (20%) · Perform requirements gathering and work with business stakeholders on report design and layout (5%) · Work with OLTP source system owners to determine data requirements and considerations (5%) · Collaborate with BI Architect on Dimensional Data Modeling and Warehouse schema (5%) · Create front end reports, dashboards, and analytic tools and delivery methods leveraging presentation layer, BI Publisher, and Answers (5%) · Develop test scripts and perform system and unit end to end testing (5%) · Work with users and developers/programmers to correct recurring problems and troubleshoot critical issues (5%) · Perform functional analyst role when required · Work with DBA and Sys Admin teams on performance and system availability issues · Client environment involves: OBIEE 10.1, Oracle SOA 10.1, Siebel CRM 7.8/8.1, Oracle CDH R12, PeopleSoft 8.8, Informatica 7.1, Oracle 10g/11g, MS SQL 2005, Linux, Windows Required Skills/ Experience: · Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer software, or related field · 3+ years experience with Informatica · 6+ years experience with Oracle technologies, 3+ with OBIEE · Informatica 7 · Oracle OBIEE 10 · Database programming (Oracle 10g/11g, PL/SQL, MS SQL 2005) · Expertise in RDBMS, OLTP, OLAP, and Data Warehousing concepts · Experience with at least one of the following: Siebel, PeopleSoft FIN and HCM, Oracle Customer Data Hub · Experience with Answers and BI Publisher preferred · Excellent problem solving and analytical skills · Understanding of business reporting needs in relation to finance, sales and sales operations, marketing, key performance indicators Vishal Mishra IDC Technologies 408-852-7193 -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/CBE-Software-Engineer?hl=en
