Duration: 6-12+ months Location: Addison, TX POSITION OVERVIEW: · Responsible for defining, reviewing, analyzing and evaluating fundamental business systems and user needs. · Defines business requirements and applies EMR leading industry practices to successfully configure and implement packaged solutions with an ongoing commitment to meet underlying business needs. · Responsible for managing Enterprise Task Views and system alerts · Proactively works with IT and the business to manage and resolve production application issues – from identification through resolution · Plans and prepares business documents, reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of project requirements and workflows · Assists developers in resolution of work problems related to flow charts, project specifications, or business requirements understanding · Documents configuration decisions and produces comprehensive and thorough documentation for the final product. · Provides regular updates on project tasks, schedules and estimates of work to be completed. · Assists in training development as needed to support other training resources. · As needed, provides support to training efforts by being part of training classes and functioning as a product expert to support the training delivery · Provides Go Live Support including time on site at the billing and clinic operation locations. REQUIREMENTS: · 2+ years EMR / EHR configuration · 2 to 5+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry with a specific focus on clinical systems and understanding of Meaningful Use requirements · Strong understanding of the business processes that are used to support urgent care, occupational health, primary care and other services · Familiarity with healthcare best practices to support system implementations and improve operational efficiencies. · Experience partnering with the business to define and establish ongoing organizational milestones required for aggressive rollout plan, including setting up specific site locations, mapping their hardware devices to the EMR and defining and maintaining end user roles within the EMR · Experience in translating the results of design sessions into configuration requirements · Exceptional ability to identify and track issues and drive them to a conclusion · Experience with eliciting requirements from business users and stakeholders PREFERRED: · Experience with Allscripts EMR Implementation and configuration, specifically including Order, Documents, Notes, RX+, and Charge modules · While AllScripts is preferred, other EMR packages include: Cerner, Epic, McKesson, Siemens, GE Centricity, NextGen eClinicalWorks, Greenway, and Misys · Looking for people that can thrive in a fast-paced, enterprise-wide (300+ locations) environment · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or healthcare field Thanks & Regards M D Sadiq UTIS Inc 732 658 9072 E-Mail: [email protected] URL: www.utisinc.com -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/CBE-Software-Engineer?hl=en
