Position: *WebSphere Portal & Java EE solution architect*
Location: Chicago, IL

We are currently seeking a WebSphere Portal Consultant with strong
experience in Architecture with Java and WebSphere Portal experience.
Qualifications
Must have held the role of a WebSphere Portal Developer or Architect
for multiple Portal-based solutions, and enterprise-scale, J2EE-based
solutions for large organizations
Must have experience in Java-standard, Portlet-based Application
Development on IBM Platform
2+ years IBM WebSphere Portal v6.x design and development including
developing JSR 168/286 Portlets, WSRP, JSPs and Servlets, SOAP-based Web
Services, RAD, Portlet Factory and/or Eclipse IDE
Strong knowledge of WebSphere Portal components, services and
frameworks, WebSphere Portal configuration, WebSphere JNDI, Spring
configuration
Experience in J2EE framework development experience (Spring/Spring MVC,
Struts, JSF, Hibernate, etc.), object-oriented design and related tools
(UML, Rational)
Experience with most of the following: Maven, Hudson, Nexus, Spring
JMS, WebSphere MQ, Spring JDBC, DAO Layer, SQL Server, JavaMail API, Spring
Mail, TAM, SVN
Familiar with the core design patterns and best practices
(OO/Gang-of-Four, J2EE, Architecture)
Familiar with SDLC methodologies including RUP and Agile
Must have a proven track record with integrating solutions in disparate
platforms and technologies
8+ years of over-all information technology and software development
experience
Proven mentoring/leadership experience, excellent communication skills
(effective oral and written skills)
