Role: *UNIX System Administrator* Location: Austin, TX Duration: 6+ Months *Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 3 Experience as a UNIX systems administrator 3 Experience administering servers running the Solaris OS 3 Experience administering web application servers *Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience 3 Storage administration: Production experience with EMC Tier 1 storage (Symmetrix) provisioning, engineering and support. Production experience using Timefinder Clone, SRDF/S, SRDF/A, SRDF/DM, Replication Manager, ECC, and SYMCLI. SAN administration experience.(Brocade). Server Administration : Production experience with Solaris on Sun/Oracle hardware and RedHat Linux 5/6, VMWare Vsphere 4+ on Intel based hardware. Experience with Kickstart & Jumpstart OS installations, as well as Linux patch/package management. Fluent in creating/managing software repositories. Skills in troubleshooting performance, I/O, network, and OS issues from the network/web tier/application tier through the hardware and infrastructure level. Software Administration: Production experience in administering WebSphere ND. Ability to troubleshoot performance and functional issues with WAS and deployed applications. Oracle Fusion Middleware Identity/Access Management (OIM, OAM, ODSEE, SOA, OHS) installation, configuration, administration experience. Other Infrastructure skills: Management/administration of critical web tier load balancing (any major vendor), and knowledge/experience in configuration/administration of Apache and Apache-based webservers (IHS, OHS, plugins). SSL certificate management across all tiers. Soft skills: Must be comfortable working on teams, taking a lead role in aptitude areas and working with other teams to troubleshoot performance and functional problems and formulate solutions.
