The key position will be responsible for supporting the development and business teams in analyzing data requirements to develop logical and physical entity relationship models, assist in writing complex queries to address data issues, write database unit tests, and handle data related support issues. · Implement data oriented solutions using SQL · Able to decompose business requirements into data solutions · Able to uncover data anomalies or data quality issues through in-depth analysis · Work with developers and end-users in creating test plans · Ensure that appropriate database development standards are employed in all phases of the development cycle Responsibilities Under direction of a team lead or manager, the Data Analyst will · Develop database code to business and technical specifications · Develop unit tests to ensure data accuracy and data quality · Work with complex data sets to deal with data anomalies and data validation · Produce ad-hoc queries for reporting needs and business analytics · Produce and document data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams · Collaborate with developers and end-users to identify and resolve data issues within business requirements · Participate in code reviews with a senior team member to ensure quality, correct functionality, and architectural integrity. · Participate in all team activities, such as Scrum Meetings, brain storming, team building exercises, and human resources events.
