E:[email protected] Please review the job description and send me some resumes sooner as possible. *Role: Support Analyst* *Duration: FULL TIME* *Location: Redmond, WA* *Description*: The successful candidate for this position will be deploying, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting resource servers within the Windows Phone Offsite Labs organization (SQL, WTT, Azure, File servers and Virtual Hosts using SCVMM). This person will also be managing and maintaining an assigned set of labs which will include test host and device support using onsite “smart hands” when necessary. International travel will be required for this position. *Primary Responsibilities: Tier 2+ Support * · Working with customers to ensure optimal operation of resource servers, test hosts and devicesin both Redmond and offsite labs. · Investigation of failed infrastructure systems, services, test hosts and devices. · Communicate effectively with engineering, test, product development groups and external partners to define the impact of outages and technical requirements of development. · Documenting processes and challenges, while offering suggestions for solutions and improvement, some code review required. · Resource allocation enumeration, planning, and forecasting. *Required Job Skills: * · Experience with SQL queries, performance, backup, and maintenance · Experience with SQL Server 2005 and/or SQL 2008/R2 · Experience with services running in Azure · Working knowledge and experience using Hyper V and SCVMM · Working knowledge and experience of SAN and DAS storage solutions · Working knowledge and experience administering Windows Servers · Working knowledge and experience with deploying and supporting WTT · Working knowledge and experience with mobile devices in an automated testing environment · Ability to effectively multi-task in a changing environment · Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues · Clear written communication skills · Good understanding of security groups, OU’s, and user privilege maintenance · Ability to travel internationally · Ability to lift and rack servers and other hardware up to 25 kg *Highly Desirable Job Skills: * · SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) implementation and administration · SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package design and execution · Active Directory experience in a multi-domain, multi-forest environment · Prior experience with distributed application implementation and Prod/Staging/Test environment deployments. · Ability to originate or edit scripts (PowerShell, TSQL) This position works an 8-9 hour shift in a lab environment during group support hours of (8AM – 6PM), Monday through Friday. These hours may be adjusted to overlap with the local time in the region where the supported labs are located, e.g. 1PM-11PM Sunday through Thursday for Far East labs. Also will be asked to work weekend hours or stay late as workload demands, including periodic off-hours conference calls with overseas “smart hands” and partners.
