*Role:Java Back-End Software Engineer Location: Indianapolis, IN Duration: 6-12 Months contract * You will design and develop components of our server infrastructure including RESTful APIs, computing components, and other shared infrastructure for an open platform for patient engagement in clinical research for a leading pharmaceutical company. The responsibilities include: participating on the design of the APIs and software components for multiple applications, participating in the design of resource-oriented RESTful APIs and implementing thoese APIs and business logic for several applications. Here are some of the skills/competencies we seek: Ability to understand and analyze project requirements and translate into specifications and programming deliverables; Ability to work with architects and software engineers to enhance existing applications while identifying emergent alternatives; Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
