Please send me updated resume to [email protected] ** * Location : Tampa ,FL *Java Developer Job Description:* The Java/ J2EE Developer will be responsible to plan, architect, design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document programming to satisfy business requirements for large, complex projects. Adheres to architecture standards, risk management and security policies, leading presentations in architecture review, strategic technology directions, best practice development (e.g., estimating models), mentoring less experienced team members, code reviews. Responsibilities: • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. • Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. • Adhering to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. • Document the detailed application specifications • Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules. • Facilitate code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architecture • Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues, review and provide feedback to any required final user documentation. • Manage end to end delivery of application code • Manage Build and Unit testing Requirements: • To be considered for this role your background should include a minimum of 5 years of IT experience. • Must have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise Application Development • Minimum 5+ years of software development using Java/JavaScript, J2EE, EJB, XML, Web Services/SOA and HTML. • Extensively used Java frameworks - Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, EJB, JAXB, XML, Xpath, XQuery. • Experience in Java programming in an IBM Websphere environment • Strong understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns. • Minimum 5+ years of working knowledge in Oracle 10/11g database and in creating/modifying data model. • Required proficiency in PL/SQL, including triggers, stored procedures, queries, etc. • Experienced in ANT, Maven build/deployment process. • Knowledge of UNIX operating system • Proven track record of delivering results • Experience with Application Development using object oriented Lifecycle and Application Frameworks • Broad range of experiences and understanding with web/internet technologies including but not limited to Apache/Tomcat, Eclipse, and Web portal application development • Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills • Experience with system, application, and process documentation including tools such as MS-Visio, etc. • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills • Experience with SVN Source Code management techniques/ tools for software management, Knowledge SDLC tools (JIRA). • Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work with diversified multi-location team. *Need Details:* *Full name:* *Contact:* *Email:* *Location:* *Relocation:* *Availability:* *Rate:* *Visa: * Thanks & Regards, Ravi Canoesys Inc Tel : 847-752-0944| Fax: 847-305-2610 [email protected] http://www.canoesys.com -- -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/CBE-Software-Engineer?hl=en --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CBE Software Engineer" group.
