*Data Architect* *Location: Portland, OR Duration: 6 Months+* *Job Description: * · Our Client is looking for an outstanding data architect a person who not only knows data modeling and architecture, but can also drive their models into robust, effective, practical results. · As a member of the new Information Asset Management group you will improve Clients data-verse, focusing on building out our data into a meaningful competitive advantage. You will work closely with the Product Development, Data Warehousing, Reporting, & Analytics teams to take our data architecture to the next level, and you will be a key contributor as Client delivers new data-intensive products and services. *Required Skills:* · Ensure repeatable design patterns and best practices are used throughout the data enterprise · Create data standards, guidelines, and processes for our Development teams and ensure compliance with data architecture principles and standards · Implement data quality improvements and help resolve data quality issues · Implement enhancements to our current enterprise data model - spanning live and data warehouse databases · Implement enhancements to our metadata management system - spanning live and data warehouse databases *Technical Skills:* · Significant data analysis, modeling, and design skills · Experience building conceptual, logical, and physical data models · Experience with data warehousing (preferably Teradata), and reporting · Experience modeling healthcare (claims, eligibility, etc.) data preferred · Solid skills in investigating and resolving data issues *Desired Skills: * · Excellent interpersonal skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Outstanding ability to span technical and non-technical needs Best Regards, G Prem Cloudeeva, Inc.
