*Location: Lansing/MI* *Duration: 14 Months* *Interview Mode: Phone & Skype* Resource will visit 30+ plants to determine what changes need to be made to infrastructure, cabling, network equipment, to prepare sites for ERP deployment. They will need to inspect and document cabling, define distribution runs, cabinets; ensuring inventory for switching and routing is accurate, server inventory, UPS's, air conditioning systems for computer rooms. They will take photographs and document current status, meeting with defined team at the plant to review material during trip to ask clarifying questions and covered all topics. *Skills needed:* Microsoft Word, ability to identify between different types of copper cabling, ability to identify types of fiber optic cable, ability to document how cabling is terminated into patch panels and cabinets, understand inventory of servers, what ports plugged into on switch, need to validate actual hardware, serial numbers, UPSs and get ratings off of it to understand wattage, confirming equipment plugged into UPS, comfortable with taking photographs, (inventory: make, model, server connections), ability to identify equipment, how Cisco router port numbers are done.
