Contract: 6 Months *Sr. Oracle DBA* - 8+ years experience in database technology and systems architecture - Ability to work independently and able to manage complex database projects from start to finish - Participate in on-call rotation with other DBA’s - Flexible working hours - Ability to work cohesively in a team and with different functional groups and clients - Oracle RMAN backup and Recovery - Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) - Database / UNIX –AIX OS / hardware performance tuning - 4 to 5 years of solid prior experience in designing and architecting database infrastructure (database, storage and applications) and solutions in a clustered and non-clustered environments - Oracle upgrade from 10g to 11g - UNIX shell scripting automating procedures - Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid) implementations - Very strong capabilities troubleshooting database issues Should have excellent communication skills, able to interface at the customer & internal teams.
