Please reply with remove in subject line. *QA Lead/Manager with Business Intelligence & Data Management* *Location: San Francisco, CA* * Duration: Long Term Contract * *Job Description:* The IT Business Intelligence & Data Management (BIDM) team is responsible for developing and executing on strategies for collecting, accessing, and using enterprise-wide data by business units across Bank of the West and its affiliates through the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), the Finance Data Mart (FDM) and other Bank of the West data assets. The BIDM Testing & QA Lead reports to the BIDM Business Engagement Lead and is responsible for: · Developing BIDM group testing standards, processes, and responsibilities across the various BIDM groups while promoting a culture of continuous testing improvement. · Managing testing responsibilities in a matrix across internal BIDMgroups. · Coordinating the development of testing strategies and documenting testing plans. · Integrating testing tools into BIDM processes, training on both process and tool use, and administering the implementation of any tools. · Working with the IT Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) on integrating best practices with BIDM processes. *· *Executing testing on projects as needed to meet deliverables. *Position Accountabilities* *1. *Manages the testing and quality assurance functional area for BIDMto ensure on-time, high quality, low-to-no defect deployment of data warehouse and BI projects. *2. *Assists with development of comprehensive test approaches and plans; authoring of test cases; managing defect resolution; and reporting on testing progress and results *3. *Directs and ensures adherence to testing best practices. Documents practices with procedures and process flows. *4. *Provides consultative expertise to internal teams and business partners related to testing and quality assurance *5. *Develops and adheres to a means of continuous process improvement for the business. *6. *Investigates, deploys, and administers testing-related tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business required · Master’s/Advanced Degree in Computer Science or Business preferred · 7-10 years of experience in the Information Technology field, focusing on Systems Quality Assurance activities and testing experience with 3-5 years in a data warehouse environment . · 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience. · Experience with HP Quality Center and implementing testing.
