*Required Experience:*

   - Knowledge of modern scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby) and
   SQL
   - Experience with mission-critical trading or other real-time system
   architectures with significant uptime and reliability expectations
   - Experience with full stack application support and troubleshooting,
   and ideally with external-facing clients
   - Detailed knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS)
   - Have experience working with Virtual machines (vmware, kvm, xen)
   - Experience in a "continuous deployment" environment
   - Experience with configuration management systems and concepts (Chef,
   Puppet, Cfengine, etc.)
   - Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such
   as Nagios, Zenoss, Splunk, OpenNMS, Graphite, Cacti, etc.
   - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Support/Operations engineer

Linux System  - Trading Support and Monitoring Engineer

*Responsibilities *

   - Anticipate, diagnose and solve problems with our trading platform and
   client front-end.
   - Interface daily with clients and internal coverage teams in a
   fast-paced, high-pressure environment; there is considerable exposure to
   the trading desks and a key requirement is the ability to build strong user
   relationships
   - Proactive management and monitoring of our environment, together with
   extensive problem identification, ownership, resolution or escalation
   - Managing significant system outages, directing activities of all
   development and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues
   - Drive initiatives that continue to improve the availability,
   stability, and performance of the system
   - Closely cooperating and collaborating with development, test
   engineering, product, and client coverage teams
   - Work with developers on supportability designs, application
   optimization and performance tuning
   - Monitor the production application environment for problems and to
   diagnose where those problems are
   - Work with engineering teams to maintain a scalable, reliable, and
   robust environment
   - Drive the improvement cycle from Operations back into development and
   vice versa
   - Measuring, maintaining, and reporting appropriate SLAs across products
   to internal and external partners
   - Provide 24x5.5 escalated on-call support on rotation
